Double Patty Burger

Sitting and watching a game on your telly, and your stomach grumbling? Theres nothing better than a good old juicy burger with a good glass of juice. Burgers are in for a long time and old favorite with the young and adults; with a twist and turn you can create mouthwatering patties in no time. Very efficient and not time consuming!

  • 500g Mince
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1tsp cumin powder
  • 1tsp lemon juice
  • 1tsp oil
  • 4tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • Chives chopped
  • 1 Garlic clove crushed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Onion rings
  • Tomato sliced
  • 8 burger buns
  • mayonnaise


Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse a few times. Make nice sized patties.

Heat a griddle with some oil and shallow fry the patties until done through. Remove the patties and add the onion rings in the same oil; this will give it a nice flavor. Cook until softened.

Prepare your Burger

Start layering your burger, mayonnaise smothered generously, lettuce, patty, tomato, patty, and then top with onion rings and a dollop of your favorite sauce.
