Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of Brussels sprouts – however many you want to serve.
  • 4 slices of smoky bacon
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 glass of wine
  • 1 small onion

Method of Preparation

Parboil the Brussels sprouts for about 10 minutes.

Whilst these are cooking, get your bacon chopped up into little strips and frying in a bit of oil. Once the fat starts coming out, add in your onion, finely chopped, to go in with the bacon fat. Mince the garlic and add this in. This will give it a lovely flavour.

Once your sprouts are parboiled, stick them in the bacon, onion and garlic mixture, and coat them in all of the flavours.

Add in your glass of wine and cook until the wine has all burned away.

Absolutely delicious!
