Sesame biscuits are tasty and crunchy treats that can be easily baked at home. Sesame seeds are added to foods to get that extra flavor with each bite.
They are oil-rich seeds rich in iron and magnesium. Sesame has many health benefits and can be used in your daily diet.

Makes about: 15 biscuits
- ¼ cup white sesame seeds (roasted)
- 50 gm wheat flour
- 50 gm maida
- ½ cup castor sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- A pinch of cardamom powder
Take castor sugar, butter in a mixing bowl and mix well till soft. In another bowl take maida, wheat flour, cardamom powder and roasted sesame seeds. Combine well.
Mix it to the castor sugar-butter mixture. Knead all these ingredients. Take a lemon-sized ball of the mixture and press it between your palms. Roll them on roasted sesame seeds and press a cashew nut on top.
Pre-heat the oven and set the temperature to 170 degrees. Place the biscuits on a greased baking sheet and bake them for about 20 minutes. Cool them slightly before serving so that they become crispy.
