Solyanka is a second course meal that is easy enough to prepare, and tasty.
It is not expensive as well.
You will need two frying pans – the first should be the big one and another can be the little one.
- A half of cabbage head
- 300 gram of sausages
- 1 tomato
- 40 gram of butter
- 50 gram of greens
- Salt on taste
Cut the cabbage on little square pieces, put it in the big frying pan and stew it on low fire 30 minutes. If needed add some water and a little of sunflower oil. Salt on your taste. While it is stewing, cut the sausages on little pieces (cubes or shreds). The point is they should not be very thin.
Then fry them on the second frying pan on butter until the sausages become a little browned. Then put in the frying pan with cabbage. Peel tomato and grate it, add to cabbage. Keep stewing. Cut the greens and add to cabbage. Stew another 5 minutes. Solianka is ready. It can be served hot as well as cold.
