Mixed Vegetable Weaning Recipe

Butternut squash is a very healthy diet as it is highly rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients. It boosts up to have a good immunity and fiber to the children It helps the in better absorption of calcium.

Parsnips have the fiber, iron, and rich in vitamin. They provide sufficient minerals such as magnesium, manganese and niacin which will help children to grow healthy.

Most probably everyone knows the efficiency of carrots. It improves the appearance of skin, hair and nails.

Ingredients

  • Butternut squash 50g
  • Carrot 50g
  • Parsnip 50g

Method

Peel and chop the vegetables into small pieces.

Boil or steam until it gets tender.

Mix all the cooked vegetables well.

Mash it well as puree and it should be little watery.

If it is hard, adjust the consistency with a little water from the saucepan used for the steaming.
